Fake Reality

The infinity pool picture was mesmerizing.

Oh, look at this sunset, aint it amazing?

The short black dress so stunning,

The smile on your face so radiating.

Dressed up and partying with friends,

organized work place with the sharp Starbucks cup

Picnic in Central Park and drives in the countryside

Her Manicured insta feed could take you for a ride.

But what happened to that? Sitting at home in silence she wondered?

Quarantine measures made her measure her own life

What was it all worth when the world collapsed?

Which memories did she create for herself, she asked?

None came the soft murmur from her heart.

Fake reality is what she lived for and that hit her like a dart.
